Back in the day the tabs I saw were nowhere as good as Scotch #67 for splicing - have you found good ones that will last as long? Obviously not today, but even in the 70s they were a compromise between quality and convenience. Thus I wouldn't even look for them today unless someone makes good ones!

I think someone still makes sheets of cassette-splicing tabs, so do the same folks make 1/4" versions?
