Nominating committee members are made up of the last BPG Chair and two other volunteers. At the BPG business meeting two volunteers for the nominating committee are sought and they serve for a year. The nominating committee convenes remotely every winter to find two candidates for each open position on the BPG executive council. A call for nominations is sent out through the BPG email list and members in good standing are encouraged to nominate themselves or others they know to be interested in running. A list of duties for each position is provided for prospective nominees. Voting is managed electronically through AIC and the election results are announced at the BPG business meeting.
