I am very happy with my Sony CDRW-33, but, sadly, Sony has stopped making all these things.

Since I don't have any experience with the Tascam unit, I would hesitate to suggest it, but it looks as if Tascam or HHB are the choices here. I had a Marantz 500 that took several trips back to the shop.
