The Australian Institute for Conservation of Cultural
Materials (AICCM) Textile Special Interest Group is holding its inaugural
symposium, to be held on the 19-20 August 2002, at BinnaBurra Lodge,
Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia. Registration in due by the
19th of July 2002. The symposium aims to promote a
broader awareness of the variety of work carried out by textile conservators and
is aimed at the textile conservation community in Australasia. The 19
papers demonstrate the diversity of conservation treatments carried out by
textile conservators, the list of papers are as follows:
