As some of you already know, I am currently conducting research on adhesive
support treatments for textiles. I have been doing peel tests of model
textile laminates, studying the surface properties of adhesive films, and
conducting a survey of flat textiles that have been treated with adhesives. I
am heading to the UK to continue the survey after the NATCC conference in
Philadelphia. As a result, I will have with me several documents related to
that research, including the electronic version of the survey form that I am
using to survey the artifacts (Microsoft Access) and scanning electron
microscope images of coated support fabrics and peeled samples. If anyone is
interested in discussing this research or has any experiences about adhesive
treatments for textiles that they would like to share, I would love to meet
with you. I will be in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April
7.
If you would like to talk, let me know or talk to me at the conference.
See you in Philadelphia.
