The next two meetings of the Textile
Conservation Group will be held at the
following times and locations. Non-members
are invited to attend. However, they are
required to pay a $5 fee.
Monday October 29, 2001

7th Avenue & 27th Street, NYC
"Microscopy of Synthetic Fibers"--
a lecture and laboratory presented
by Denyse Montegut. There are only
12 places available, so reservations

Note: There is an additional $10 materials
fee(to be paid in cash) for the handouts
for this meeting.

Edward Maeder of Historic Deerfield, who
will discuss the conservation issues involved
with the mounting of this exhibition of men's
