Huntley-Brinkley was apparently a headache for AT&T, who had to
switch the NBC television network from New York to DC origination
and back every time Huntley said "David -" or Brinkley said
"Chet -". Their famous tagline "Good night, Chet." "Good night,
David, and good night for NBC News" originated so AT&T engineers
would get the "name cue" to switch from Brinkley to Huntley for
the close.
