[ARSCLIST] OT? Need to ID the maker of a transcription-size turntable

Hello ARSC folks,

I'm hoping to retore an old transcription-sized turntable I rescued from a junk-shop this weekend. The nameplate is long gone, as are the tonearm and idler wheel. It seems the biggest hurdle may be learning who the manufacturer was.

It was capable of playing four speeds, and has pitch control. The twelve-inch platter has a white rubber mat. The motor seems to work fine, though it will need fresh mounts. Here's what the nameplate on the motor says, in case that offers any clues:

NEAT 4 pole induction motor
M-500 Single phase Shaded pole type

Voltage 100V Cycle 50 or 60 c/s
Speed 1300/1600 rpm Input 12/11 VA

NEAT ONKYO DENKI CO.. LTD. JAPAN

If anyone is curious enough to want to see jpegs, I'm sure I can find some website to post them to. I'll very much appreciate any help IDing the manufacturer, or any advice about other on-line resources that might be more ready for this riddle.

ARSC and ye shall receive?

Best,
Rod Brown
