Since you are changing it anyway you might consider a forwarding service
like net identity. You have a sub-domain like eric@xxxxxxxxxxxx, or
whatever you want to call it, and any mail that goes to that address
gets forwarded to your real address. If you change your address in the
future, you just reroute the mail to your new address. People who have
your address (the one that forwards) don't know it has changed and you
don't miss anything.
