Dicaphone also made a magnetic belt nmachine. Its dimensions were different enough from the IBM ones that the couldn't be interchanged.

The IBM belts were magnetic. Dictabelts were grooved. Totally different takes on a similar theme.

This looks like a cut "magnabelt" which is the magnetic version of a "dictabelt" I know IBM made these machines to record and play them. Good luck finding a working machine. The operative word here is "working".
