If that is inconvenient, consider putting together a simple RIAA preamp of your own. There are a couple of circuits (some years old, but parts should be available) on the Files page of the CD-R side of my WWW site. Either is best run with a battery - no power connection, so no hum from that source.


NOTE: If you do have hum, don't forget to isolate it to conductive or radiative; they are solved in different ways.
