Do you really think so? I've been managing for 20 years using my ears; it's a lot faster, and at the end of the day, it tells you what you need to know - which is how it sounds, and you can extrapolate in your mind how that is going to apply. And it's not that it's so daunting, I just personally don't think it's relevant, and I just think it's going to be a big ? for poor Mr. Bresler, who wants to know if we have any ideas for him on sound cards...and looking at waveforms is great if you know what you're looking for.

Shall we leave it at that? I don't usually reply even this much, but I'm in a feisty mood, so watch out! (we can continue this off list, if you want to go on)
