And speaking of new formats...the law is so encumbered...in the old days,
the artist's contracts allowed companies to issue in the LP/cassette
formats. When the CD came along, many companies had to renegotiate
contracts to cover the new format...which is why the wording re:
formats has changed in most contracts.
