DATs are indeed going the way of the dinosaurs. I never liked them but the
good thing about them is as long as the they're not error-killed, they
easily transfer without quality loss. I'm all set up for DAT-to-DAW digital
here (44.1 or 48K, whatever your DATs are). If you have material that I'm
interested in, I offer very deep discounts because I consider it more a
mind-expanding exercise than work. Ping me off-list if you're interested.
