I think you will find that tapes will revert to sticky-shed condition after
some relativly short period of time, depending on storage condtions. Remember,
the initial cause of the condition is primarily due to moisture
("hydroscopic") absorbtion. But most of us have discovered that reappearance of the
problem cannot be prevented, even when tapes are stored sealed in a ziplock bag with
dessicant (mosture absorbing material such as found in medicine bottles).
By the way, your baking should be in the 125 degree to 135 degree Farenheit
range -- going higher will deleteriously affect the magnetized particles. Also,
try sustaining the baking over a long period, usually longer than 10 hours is
recommended.
