You can find turntables at Kurt Nauck's site   http://www.78rpm.com 
and Kevin A. Barrett's site   http://www.kabusa.com  These are
turntables with direct outputs from the phono cartridge with no
amplification.  If you have a full archival sound processing program
in your computer system, the plugs could be adapted to go into the
low level microphone imputs of a computer sound card.  If you wish
to pre-amplify and do some processing and equalization of the audio
before putting the signal into the regular high-level line imputs of
the computer sound card, you will need to also get a processing
pre-amp, which they also carry.  Unless you have a great sound-card
in the computer, this is the better way to do it.
