Western Association for Art Conservation

Annual Meeting & Conference

Pacific Grove, California
September 30 - October 2, 2015

Food and Drink

All meals, from dinner on the day you arrive to lunch on the day you leave, are covered in your room fee.

Freshly-made, local food is served in Crocker Dining Hall at the following times:

Breakfast: 7:30-9:00 Lunch: 12:00-1:00 Dinner: 6:00-7:00

There are always vegetarian options. Gluten-free meals and meals for other dietary needs can be made as well. Indicate your need for this in the extra notes section of the housing reservation form. There is a take-away option. There is also a cash bar serving beer and wine for consumption on the premises. Asilomar also has a cafe/bar, Pheobe's cafe, which is open from 6:30am-10:00pm. Any alcohol bought here must be consumed on the premises. Refrigerators can be made available in your room for an extra fee. You are permitted to bring alcohol from outside to consume in your rooms. (It is just not permitted in any public areas.) There are also many local restaurants, although remember that you are already paying for your onsite meals! (see Hotels and Accomodations)

Pacific Grove

Quiet and scenic, Pacific Grove—often called "America's last Home Town" is also home to Asilomar. Since the entire city of Pacific Grove including Asilomar is only 2.7 square miles, you're always just a few steps from the ocean, pine forests and many award-winning Monterey Peninsula restaurants.
