Both Mayflower Park Hotel and Homewood Suites offer free wireless internet and are within walking distance of the museum.

There are many other hotel options within the downtown Seattle area, other decent options include:

Hotel Max
http://www.hotelmaxseattle.com
Rooms may be a bit small for some and some rooms may have a little traffic noise but the location is great and the sushi downstairs isn't bad either.

Two options that are a bit further away (a 10-15 minute bus ride from the city center but quite convenient for the reception and banquet) are:

The Maxwell Hotel at Seattle Center

Four Points by Sheraton

Apart from the last listing, we have actually used or have heard decent reports about these hotels. Of course, we are not travel agents, so please don't sue us and by all means use Priceline, Orbitz, Tripadvisor etc. to research the best deal and the hotel with the fewest rattly plumbing fixtures or least truculent front desk staff.
