waac
Western Association for Art Conservation
Juneau, Alaska
Aug. 19-21, 2009
Everyone is welcome. We hope that you will attend the
meeting and consider presenting a paper.
Come join your conservation colleagues in the northern most WAAC meeting ever held. The theme reflects both the beauty and the wildness of the location as well as doing conservation in challenging situations. There will be thought provoking sessions on disaster recovery in extreme situations, treatments that push boundaries, and the challenges of keeping conservation relevant in an ever changing world. We can learn a lot from the Alaskan environment. Juneau lies in the largest temperate rainforest in the world. So bring your raincoat and a willingness to be challenged to one of the most exciting venues for our annual meeting.
