Getting To, and Around, Santa Fe

Air travel to Santa Fe uses the Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ). Southwest Airlines has some very good deals to ABQ but check with other airlines for their rates, of course. Van shuttles to Santa Fe are available from the Santa Fe Shuttles/Herrera Coaches - 888.883.2300 (www.shuttlesantefe.com / $38.00 roundtrip) or Sandia Shuttles - 888.775.5696 (www.sandiashuttle.com
$43.00 roundtrip). Ask about drop-off (and pick-up) points to see if these will be convenient for you. See the Hotel List for special rates at Inn of the Governors.

Rental cars are also an option, especially if you are interested in leaving the downtown area. Parking downtown can be somewhat difficult though. Check with your hotel to see if they have parking and/or shuttle services.

On Saturday and Monday the conference awill be held at the Museum of International Folk Art (www.moifa.org) in the Folk Art Auditorium. The museum is located on Museum Hill and can be reached from downtown Santa Fe on foot (about thirty minutes, up hill), by car (parking is easily available on the Hill), or by bus (the "M" line - 505.955.2001).

On Sunday the conference will be held in downtown Santa Fe at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Francis Auditorium. The Museum is located at one corner of the main square at 107 West Palace Ave . The Auditorium was built in 1917 in the traditional New Mexico Mission Style. www.museumofnewmexico.org
