vinyl resin
Any of the thermoplastic synthetic resins prepared
by the polymerization or copolymerization of
various vinyl compounds, principally vinyl
acetate, vinyl chloride, and vinylidine chloride.
Vinyl resins are clear water-white, non-yellowing
materials, some of which are used in the
preparation of coating materials, foils, and the
