paste tins ( paste boards )

Zinc-covered boards used mainly in trade binding for pasting guards and cloth joints. The zinc is pasted and the guards and/or cloth joints are laid down, a sheet of waste paper is laid on top and rubbed down, resulting in the laid down material picking up the adhesive. (256 )
