ordinary periodical-volume

A (periodical) volume defined by the Library Binding Institute to be a series of multi-leaved, like-constituted, serially numbered graphic units submitted for binding or rebinding into a scheduled multi-unit volume and not requiring special handling. An ordinary periodical volume ranges in height from about 8 to 16 inches, a proportional width and a thickness not exceeding 2 1/2 inches. (209 )
