Hi everyone: I have been contacted by a scenic painter looking for a
source for heavy velvet. She is trying to match an existing 1930’s theater
curtain and modern synthetic fabrics aren’t good enough.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t tell me the fiber content…. They
do have a dyer so color matching is not part of the issue. You can see a
