Re: Costume exhibition protocols?

Lara Flecker, costume display specialist in the Victoria and Albert
Museum textile conservation studio, has written a very useful book on
Costume Mounting for the Butterworth/Elsevier Museology series. It
should be published by July of this year.

Hi everyone I'm posting this for Anahid Akasheh. When you reply to the
list,
please reply to "all" Thanks, Mary Ballard

Does any one have a current guide of the protocols and procedures for
dressing mannequins with period garments? Something that would
distinguish
'dressing' a store mannequin from dressing a period display in a
museum?
