T C G vote not fair to count abstention as a NO

>
sARAH,
i DON'T KNOW YOU BUT, ...
Now, I'M RESUBMITTING my vote & said I shouldn't vote because I'm not
regional, BUT if you are going to be UNFAIR & say that someone NIL
response is a NO....

I VOTE ABOUT 10 times that you need to discuss this &
 please the local group.
You have created a lot of bad feeling by going out
on your own with a small group..
I believe you should just call it a draw &
resign from your control position if June Bove or someone who objects
will do whatever it is that you are wanting to quit from..

THIS IS NOT BEING FAIR...

> > This is a reminder to all current individual members of The
Textile Conservation Group that the recently-distributed ballots
(regarding dissolution of the organization) should be returned by 20
December 2001.
>
> As stated in the materials accompanying the ballot, we will assume
that all members who do not submit a ballot are voting IN FAVOR OF the
proposal i.e. for the proposed path to dissolving the organization.
Ballots marked "for" the proposal would be gratefully received,
however. This would help us to judge the interest in disbanding
rather than basing it strictly on the high level of member inertia
that has been an impetus for this proposal.

Conservation Group and did not receive a ballot, please contact me.
