Hello-- I'm trying to find the meaning of "Cherredary." I found it in a
1728 broadside describing the clothing of a runaway servant. Here's the
context:
She wore off a Narrow Stript pinck Cherredary Goun turn'd up with a
little flour'd red & white Callico.
"Cherre" is an obsolete spelling of "cherry"; any further ideas?
Thanks for your time.
