At NARA's recent disaster conference, a Kodak representative gave a talk on
"Recovery of Film" that was really about how Kodak has a procedure for
converting microfim to digital form and back again, as quickly and as often
as needed, for the purpose of preserving microfilm. It was a sales pitch -
but this idea may have something to offer, if anyone can extract any
reliable facts on their procedure.
The speaker was Roger Markham, Senior Technical Marketing Specialist, Kodak.
