Dear Beth,

We have a no food or drink policy in our library.  Of course, the students
pay little attention to it, bringing in all sorts of yummies.  However, I
wonder
if you said it was allowed, would it then get worse?  We have to remember
that some of the remains may be hidden for a while, drawing new little guests
into our libraries.  Another option may be to have a lounge within the library
where they may eat.
