Sackbut slides

I have had someone ask me to help them obtain handslide tubes 
necessary to build a sackbut. Can anyone give me dimensions? I 
have seen pictures, but have not had the opportunity to measure 
one. This person says that they can make the rest of it. I hope 
they know how to spin a bell...

Also, does anyone know anything about the Boston Musical 
Instrument Manufactory? Late 1800's early 1900's. Boston, MA, 
USA.
