[frameconnews] Hardboard



I believe that hardboard is called Masonite
in some countries, and Ian Marsh's original
question probably refers to that.

As far as I understand it:

Hardboard/Masonite is smooth one side and
`dimpled' on the other. It is constructed 
with fibrous material.

For the record [since it is not mentioned]
MDF (Medium Density Fibre Board) is made of 
particles and formaldehyde is used in its 
construction. This is now popular in the UK
and the EU.
