I "think" Jay Zacharias who was with Ampex, Chicago, used a $40?
one from a
discount store.
Whatever the low end ones are, they should be able to do the job.
Might need
to monitor the temperature independently, (Which I also do on our
Industrial
Blue M type,) but he said a consumer convection oven is what they used for
many many tapes.
If no one else knows for sure, I have his email from his new career in
Broadcasting, and could ask him.
