The Production Support Specialist reports to the Chief Technology Officer of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center (NAVCC). By knowledgeably anticipating workflow and production needs within the facility, the incumbent plays a key role in planning, maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing production and PC-level digital pipeline resources. Is responsible for tracking a variety of license renewals, software upgrades, and problem reports associated with the hardware and software used in the Center's digital audiovisual preservation programs. Serves as the day-to-day liaison between users of digital preservation equipment and software and the office of the Chief Technology Officer.
