First point...Actually, YES!
Second point is moot, since Edison didn't sell discs until 1913...but
the Edison "Diamond Discs" WERE in fact superior to Berliner's (et al)...!
Third point...Beliner's disc records were, in fact, easier to store than
Edison's cylinders; as well, cylinders couldn't actually be mass-
produced until c.1904 or so, when Edison finally discovered a material
which shrunk enough when cooled to allow moulded cylinders to be
removed from their moulds...!
