i personally think CD-DA is not an archive format, but it convenient.

i advocate archiving to 3 media, with at least 2 of those twice, such as

2 hard drive FAT32 SATA or EIDE
2 LTO tapes
1 set of WAV files as data on MAMA Gold DVD-ROM

with an optional set of CD-DA
