Actually, I downloaded a radio transcription several years ago of a 
program called, "Hootenanny" which featured Guthrie, Peter Seeger (I 
think), and a few of the other Almanac-singer types, playing folk music. 
It sounded live to me and much of the music was, what we could call now, 
old country. I remember a fiddle version of Ida Red and a few other 
pieces. I can't remember what Guthrie sang but he was on the show.
