Richard,

The recordings are being made for my personal enjoyment/hobby.  I just got
the Technics deck, and while playing back all my old tapes is great, I
wanted to do a little hobbyist recording also.

Thanks for the advice on tape stock; if I ever need to use the Technics for
professional and/or archival purposes I'll be sure to use RMGI (heck, it'll
probably be the only new tape I can use!).
