Oddly enough...this exchange exemplifies why some Brian-Rust-wannabe
should set about compiling the "Complete Classical Music On 78rpm
Discography"...indexed by composer, work title, artist(s?) along
with other details. Question here is, how should the book(s?!) be
arranged? Dance Bands and "Personalities" were simple...alphabetic
by recording artist, with pseudonyms cross-referenced (to some
extent, anyway...?!).

Do we go by "Composer"...by "Conductor"...or by record label,
sorted in release-date order?

NOTE: Although this might seem a major task, consider that only
three record labels (Victor, Columbia and Brunswick) issued more
than a tiny handful of classical recordings prior to 1940 or so...
