In the US,limited numbers of 78 RPM singles were pressed for
jukeboxes at
least into 1961,if not 1962.I have a US WB 78 of "Candy Kisses" by
Bill Haley
(1960) ,myself,I bought about 1993 out of "Goldmine".

There was, but I don't know how long it lasted. I have one issue
of such a
publication, courtesy of Sam's, in 1959. It actually lists Warner
Brothers
singles as being available on 78s, but I don't think this ever
came to pass.
Sam probably published it, so there might be a set at the UofT or
in Ottawa.
Richard, you lurking?
This actually varied by record company...and the market they
served! Most
"major" US labels (RCA, Columbia) quit pressing 78rpm discs
sometime in
1958; however, 78's were pressed in Canada at least into 1960 (I own
examples...!). US labels marketed to various minority markets
continued
to press 78's, probably into 1960 (i.e. Chess!). Canadian Columbia
78's
bore their issue dates after mid-1954, and, IIRC, the latest date I
have
seen was "7-60"...! I also used to own an early-1960 Canadian issue of
(IIRC) Atlantic...which by that time was issued up here under its own
label name...!
