somewhere i have the off-air recordings of 1/2 of FT when reagan was leaving the white house, and GBush #1 was coming in. they did it on Pacifica (surely they have archives of this!) and the idea was to watch one of the major networks, i think ABC, and "turn the sound down". FT then mostly improvised the soundtrack and commentary. plus i think, maybe cokey roberts cameoed as "Scout"...
