Then, for next semester, collect all versions of "I Got Rhythm" including the
eight million jazz standards that were based on it. For extra marks, add Still's
"Afro American Symphony" which contains a remarkably similar melody..if Gershwin
didn't steal from Still (WGS's family believes he did), they both found a common
thread.
