I've seen it once or twice - it has fequency and intensity information, 
visually, much like looking as a record groove, only lines and bars 
instead of a squiggly line. Ths is exactly what I meant in my original 
post. I think it is darker and lighter for intensity amd wider or 
narrower bars for frequency.
