Re: [ARSCLIST] disc extraction info

Assuming it's a standard Red Book CD, and it's not damaged so the errors are
being cause by the drive/pickup system, then nothing I've used beats Exact
Audio Copy, which is freeware. Just google it. Sony Soundforge does great
extractions too but EAC goes and gets cddb data and auto-fills the track
names.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] disc extraction info

Hello all,

Recently I discovered that the .wav files generated via disc extractions
using PlexTools Pro software (and PlexWriter drive) have very audible
artifacts not reported in the error log at the time the file was created.

Does anyone have a system they are using for disc extractions to .wav that
they really trust? If so, I would love to know.

Thank you,
Kevin Irelan
