Some of the higher end turntables of the late '80s and early '90s are built
like tanks and are quite inexpensive. I'm partial to Denon, particularly the
DP-62L/DP-59L. The only downside is a lack of 78 RPM capability (some models
do have it). If you want fully auto operation, Dual currently makes a fully
auto 'table called the CS-455 but reportedly the sound is lacklustre. It
does 78 RPM and the cartridge has a 78RPM stylus available. As for the
Sirius III... I need to pay off the Gulfstream V first.
