The Southern Folklife Collection is pleased to announce the launch of a
new multimedia online exhibit. The website is entitled Hillbilly Source
and Symbol and presents the early history of commercial country music
through digitized photographs, music, interviews, and ephemera from the
Southern Folklife Collection as well as text by noted folklorist Archie
Green.
