The discussion wandered away from my original question, which was about the
Nitty Gritty (price not known to me).
Would appreciate hearing whether others agree that this device is not
recommended, or whether it's Ok for the price, but not recommended for
professional use.
My friend isn't an archivist, just a collector.  I don't believe that he's
thinking in terms of a $ 4300 machine (sorry, folks).
