Q. I've just upgraded to Windows XP, Windows NT, or Windows 2000. Will Pro
Tools FREE 5.0.1 be compatible?

A. No. Pro Tools FREE for Windows will only run on Windows 98 or Windows
Me operating systems. It will not even install on other systems.

The advantage to Pro Tools Free, of course, is that you can go out to your
local
bookstore and buy a book to accompany it--like the Visual Quickstart
Guide, for
