ELT TT

Hi Gang,

I spent a considerable amount of time at ARSC with the chap who was
demonstrting the impressive system but came away with the overall impression
that for the price, its applications were too limited. IF I am remembering
correctly, what it lacked were:

-the ability to accommodate disks with diameters larger than 12"
-the ability to play ANY diameter disk (i.e. less common sizes such as
10.75, 8, smaller than 7", etc
-the ability to play vertical cut grooves

Theoretically, a system that could track phonographic grooves without having
to come in contact with them is a terrific concept. I hope that ELT
continues its R & D.

Best Regards,
Shiffy
