watercolor inks
Thin, semi-transparent inks that contain no oils,
and which are used when printing in colors from a
rubber surface. As they remain water soluble, even
after printing, they cannot be used where
inadvertent wetting may occur, nor can papers
printed with them be washed or deacidified by
means of aqueous systems. (140 )
