thirty-twomo
An uncommon gathering consisting of 32 leaves or
64 pages. Although such a section may be formed by
making five consecutive right angle folds, in
practice it is unusual to fold a sheet with more
than three consecutive right angle folds, because
of buckling, trapped air, etc.; therefore the 32mo
is generally formed by folding a full sheet with
two parallel folds, followed by three right angle
folds, and a half sheet with two parallel and two
right angle folds, and insetting the latter.
Written as 32mo or 32°.
